The departmental laboratory facility is not limited only for practical and indigenous work but also extended to the public domain by providing consultancy work related to Microbiology and Biotechnology aspects. The Department of Biotechnology currently offers following consultancy work to the public upon request on no profit-no loss basis. 

 

• Biogas plant setup of various scale.

• Commercial scale SCP (Spirulina) production set up.

• Microbiological analysis of Soil, Water, Food or any other samples.

• Antimicrobial activity by Broth dilution and Disk diffusion methods.
